As a Media Planner & Buyer, you will work with rapidly growing brands and lead our display strategy and campaign activation. You will play a key role in the Global IG Media team, scaling paid Display across the full consumer funnel, managing all display channel activity, media planning and activation. You will also manage a multi-million annual budget for our brand tastyworks, as well as manage display strategy for our tastyworks.  
 
You will be working closely with a dedicated team sitting across the globe, as well as our regional team in Chicago who will partner with you to deliver on our ambitious growth targets for tastyworks to become the #1 options and futures brokerage in the US. 

What you’ll do:  

  • Build media plans for display ad campaigns  
  • Serve as strategic digital marketing lead with oversight of all paid digital tactics including video, display and rich media units 
  • Run end-to-end campaign management for marketing buys 
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar budget 
  • Combine different media buy campaigns for effectiveness
  • Write briefs for the creative teams to build out banners, videos, and rich media ads
  • Partner and integrate with internal teams and agencies on upstream planning, briefing, execution and optimization 
  • Run thorough creative messaging and audience targeting tests 
  • Build thought out recommendations and strategies to improve performance 
  • Analyze and build reports via GA, Looker, and ad platforms for optimization and transparency purposes  

Who you are:

  • Proven track record in media planning, campaign execution, and optimization
  • 4-5 years of hands-on campaign management and media planning experience
  • Expert level hands-on ad-ops experience using the GMP, namely DV360 & CM
  • In-depth understanding of 1st and 3rd party segmentation ecosystem and audience layering
  • In-depth knowledge of different media buy types (direct, Open Auction, PGs, etc.)
  • Experience with Google Analytics 
  • Experience with Nielsen or other attribution platforms a bonus 
  • Experience with social media ad campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, etc. a bonus
  • Experience with a CDP or DMP a bonus
  • Experience with GDN and other DSPs/Networks is a bonus
  • Experience using AdLib creative management platforms a bonus
