how to fund your account

The most convenient way to fund your tastyworks account is by setting up an ACH. An ACH establishes an electronic relationship between your bank account and your tastyworks account. Once you link your bank account with tastyworks, you’ll be able to move funds easily to and from your brokerage account. And remember, ACH deposits and withdrawals are FREE.

2. BY wire

You can fund your account via wire transfer. Please make sure the name on the account sending the wire is the same as the name on your brokerage account that you are funding, as tastyworks does not accept third party wire transfers.  Contact your bank or brokerage firm to initiate a wire with the following information:

  • Beneficiary Bank: BMO Harris Bank
  • 111 West Monroe Street
  • Chicago, IL 60603
  • Intermediary Information
  • ABA Routing Number: 071000288
  • Swift Number: HATRUS44
  • For the benefit of: tastyworks via Apex Clearing
  • Account: 1619329
  • For further credit to: Your Name, Your tastyworks Account Number
3. BY check

Funds deposited by check are typically available for trading three business days after they are successfully posted to your account. Just make the check payable to tastyworks, include your tastyworks account number on the memo line, and mail it to the following address:

  • tastyworks
  • Attn: Account Services
  • 1000 W. Fulton Market St.
  • Suite 220
  • Chicago, IL 60607

Please note that because tastyworks does not accept third party funding, the name on the check must be the same as the name on the tastyworks account.

4. BY transferring your account from another brokerage firm (acat)

You can fund your tastyworks account by transferring an existing account from another brokerage firm by initiating an ACAT. To do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Open up a like account with tastyworks.
  2. Fill out and sign the account transfer form.
  3. Scan the completed form and email it to with the subject ‘ACAT Request’ along with a copy of the most recent statement for your account at the other brokerage firm.
